![]() ![]() Since I am an Indie level subscriber I cannot use Xamarin from inside of Visual Studio. ![]() IE if I go to Start->Programs->Xamarin Studio there are just the two platforms, iOS and Android. It NEVER installs its own IDE (like the one on the Mac). No matter which way I try to install Xamarin, where I get the installer what happens that it installs Xamarin support into Visual Studio. This Windows laptop contains multiple versions of Visual Studio Premium level. I will probably do primary builds on the Mac OS version of Xamarin Studio but being able to work on a project while toting the Windows laptop would be a good thing. So I want to be able to tweak and work on Xamarin based code on this Windows laptop. All good.Ī lot of the time I have only a Windows 7 laptop. Within that editor I can create, edit, debug and build programs in c# for the two platforms I have in Indie level. ![]() When I installed Xamarin on the Mac I get an app that I can run which has an editor, looks very much like Visual Studio in many ways but running on the Mac. Ok something is still just not right or we are not communicating. ![]()
